Speech by Gryś S. "Thermography - an effective method for testing aerospace materials"
The paper presents the basics of active thermography, its basic applications, including for the testing of  composite materials used in the aerospace industry, the remaining research problems to be solved, and the need to standardize testing procedures using the active thermography technique in non-destructive testing. The assumptions of the project were also presented
PM-II/SP/0003/2024/02 and selected effects of completed works.

During the 9th SDF Project Manager - Sławomir Gryś, Ph.D., D.Sc., Prof. received the "Scientist of the Future 2024" award for many years of innovative research activities in the areas of defectoscopy, thermography, metrology, electronics, image processing and recognition, as well as support for the development of the mentioned disciplines through numerous publications and lecture activities at Polish and foreign universities. The award also recognizes the steps the awardee has taken to promote his/her scientific activities.
